About the Owner
Dan Porzel is passionate about building high performance homes and leading clients through the process to build energy smart sustainable homes.
Dan is a graduate of Bradley University’s Construction Engineering & Management program, a LEED AP and Passive House Certified Builder. He brings over 15 years of working in a collaborative construction environment.
Dan completed multiple LEED (US Green Building Association’s green building program) Certified projects and had become a proponent of the IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) and LEAN Project Design & Construction methods. Dan is a Passive House Certified Builder, CPHB, and completed the first certified passive house in Indiana.
Anne RendaciProject Coordinator
Anne Rendaci has always been drawn to the construction industry. A graduate of Purdue University’s Industrial Engineering school, Anne joined the workforce designing fire sprinkler systems. A passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility drove her next career decision. Anne spent 6 years working for a large-scale renewable energy builder and became a LEED AP.
Anne’s interest in the intersection of quality, thoughtful construction and sustainability led her to Cedar Street Builders. She is a Certified Passive House Consultant, CPHC, and performs energy models for homes that clients hope to certify as Passive Houses.
